Job Description:

The Engineer I is an entry-level role within the Facilities Engineering Department. This position plays a critical part in the team, offering basic maintenance and repair work in a healthcare environment. The Engineer I will acquire and develop skills in several maintenance areas including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair tasks.

Job Duties:

Perform basic maintenance duties, including inspections, cleaning, and adjustments, to ensure equipment and systems run efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of outdoor facilities and equipment, regardless of weather conditions, to ensure operational reliability and safety.
Perform outdoor structural repairs and adjustments, including in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or extreme temperatures, while following safety protocols.
Manage landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including snow removal, leaf raking, and lawn care, and other related duties, adapting techniques to suit different weather conditions.
