The Specialist, Domestic Sales Performance will be responsible for developing thoughtful analyses, providing strategic recommendations, and coordinating efforts across Delta’s commercial organization to improve performance in the Domestic entity for the Global Sales organization.

 Responsibilities include:

Work in close partnership with stakeholders across Delta’s commercial organization including Revenue Management, Network, Marketing, and other divisions to drive Domestic entity performance
Support broad commercial initiatives while advocating for the Sales organization, contributing analyses and Sales-specific actions to drive improved commercial performance
Partner with Sales Development, Commercial teams, and Field Sales to identify account level opportunities to drive corporate margin / contribution through fare and share initiatives
Work closely with Sales Development, Sales Operations, and Field Sales teams to gather and synthesize qualitative data to inform actions to drive performance
Perform various statistical and quantitative analysis of Sales channels on Domestic markets to maximize revenue opportunities and achieve both Sales and commercial goals
Work with a variety of data sources including, but not limited to MIDT, DDS, RPAD, ARC/IATA, PRISM and external sources such as Diio Mi and DOT data
Formulate, coordinate, implement, and track action plans that support broader Delta strategies
Represent Global Sales at cross-commercial meetings and at various Sales functions

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Minimum 2 years of related work experience in Sales, Revenue Management, Alliances, Network, or other related functions; Sales Development / Performance experience highly preferred
Must be solution-oriented, able to manage multiple competing priorities, and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter
Should possess strong financial and analytical skills, sound organizational and planning skills, and a proven ability to prioritize and make sound business decisions
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to seek input from and understand concerns of other stakeholders, including Delta’s account management teams and customers
Proven ability to extract and clearly communicate meaningful insights from complex, often ambiguous data and drive clear action
Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Tableau to analyze data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to produce materials suited to an executive audience
Demonstrated experience and ability to create ‘one-pagers’ and decks from start to finish that are senior leader ready
Highly proficient PC skills including advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to travel occasionally to other domestic cities
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Revenue Management, Network, or similar cross-commercial experience
Knowledge of Delta's domestic network and competitive position as well as Sales strategies, programs, processes, tools and infrastructure
Bachelor’s degree or MBA/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
