Responsibilities:
Trader responsible for making markets in High Yield corporate bonds. Responsibilities will include:
* Provide liquidity to BNPP’s global investor base in designated sectors.
* Send prices for the range of securities covered: at least once a day for “off-the-runs” and multiple times a day for benchmarks.
* Provide market commentaries to sales and clients using both physical and electronic venues: morning meeting, Bloomberg messages and chat rooms.
* Partner with Credit Strategy and Research in designing and promoting trade ideas.
* Monitor risk measures to identify potential Credit and Market risks.
* Risk-manage a trading portfolio consistently with market conditions and access to liquidity
Minimum Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related field. Master’s Degree a plus
* Experience trading HY corporate bonds at a large sell side bank
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of previous HY corporate bond market experience from a large sell side bank
* Existing relationships with investing clients who actively trade HY corporate bonds

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $225,000 to $250,000annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
