The Lead Clinical Dietitian acts as a mentor for the Clinical Nutrition team, in addition to the clinical dietitian responsibilities which include, but not limited to, providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community. Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. The Lead Clinical Dietitian will perform additional necessary tasks to support the daily function and professional growth of the department and staff.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of practice (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
5 years of experience as Clinical Dietitian
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited university or college approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
1 year experience as a registered dietitian in an acute care setting preferred.
