Job Description:

The Occupational Therapist shall plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including doctors and other health personnel; and supervise COTAs, aides, volunteers, and students. The occupational therapist will follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor, Post baccalaureate Certificate, Master or Doctoral degree from an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accrediting Council on Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

Kentucky State License or interim license as an occupational therapist required.

Advanced certification in Lymphoedema therapy required.

BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) – required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and/or outpatient experience preferred.
