Job Description

Job Summary

As an Equipment Operator you are responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic fracturing equipment, trouble shooting equipment, rigging up and rigging down pump trucks with iron and hoses.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Carry out duties in accordance with EXE Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements, as well as, regulatory requirements
Be able to work in a team environment and understand their role as a member of the team
Demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn the job duties of an Equipment Operator
Have good verbal and written communication skills
Conduct limited repairs and maintenance on fracturing equipment with supervision
Work diligently toward the achievement of team goals
Proficiently operate acid equipment, sand equipment, blender, and chemical equipment when necessary
Demonstrate the ability to perform basic rig-up operations, including connecting hoses and iron
Complete other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Job Specific Skills

Some mechanical ability preferred
Basic computer skills with the ability to input and read data
Working independently under little supervision
Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands, vision and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and driving record check

Education & Experience

Minimum: 0 - 6+ years related experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree in a related field or Technical Certificate required
2+ years Fracturing/Stimulation experience with a service company or oilfield operating company.

Additional Qualifications

Clean driving record
Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends)
Ability to be on call 24 hours a day when needed
