Job Description

As Digital & Data Architect, you’ll be responsible for researching, evaluating, and alignment of digital & data transformation initiatives to meet organizational objectives. You’ll work closely with organizational leaders to understand their digital and data needs and develop strategies and solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and innovation through technology while ensuring quality, integrity and security.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Digital Innovation: 

Research and evaluate emerging digital technologies for potential adoption. Design and lead PoC activities of AI solutions that have high potential to positively impact organizational needs
Data Strategy and business intelligence & analytics: Lead the development and architecture of data management strategies and solutions ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the organization's data assets while aligning to the overall IT strategic roadmap.   Lead the research of data technologies to accelerate the design, implementation, and execution of data solutions.
Digital Strategy: Participate in the development and execution a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business objectives. Evaluate the company’s current digital capabilities against digital objectives and identify areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other departments to integrate digital and data solutions. Drive the adoption and integration of digital and data solutions across the company, enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage. Be a liaison between digital and non-digital teams to ensure alignment. Advocate for a customer-centric approach to digital initiatives. Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience across digital channels.
Data Governance: Participate in the development of data governance and data quality policies, standards, and frameworks. Ensure solutions comply with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Leadership: In collaboration with team leaders, assist in the development and mentoring of team members, identifying team knowledge gaps, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.  Act as a thought leader for business units to help them envision a digital and data future that accelerates their ability to meeting business objectives.

Key skills:

Digital Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in developing business relevant digital solutions that drive business growth that align with the company’s vision.  Strong understanding of digital trends and emerging technologies.
Data Management Skills: In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, integration, and security. Strong in data architecture, analytics, data governance, data quality, data visualization, and data-driven decision making.
Business Intelligence and Analytics: Expertise in leveraging business intelligence tools and analytics to drive strategic decision-making. Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
Innovation and Technology Adoption: Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and implement innovative digital technologies.  Comfortable leading organizational change related to technology adoption. Innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills, with the willingness to experiment and learn from failures.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong leadership, communication, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate highly technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital channels. Focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in digital strategy, data management, or related roles.
Proven leadership experience in driving successful digital and data initiatives.
English required*, bilingual in French and English is a good asset
