Primary Purpose
Manages International Intermodal and Automotive volume and revenue forecast activities. Gathers and analyzes data to innovate for new growth opportunities while maintaining base books of business to optimize volume and revenue outcomes. Leverages technical abilities to synthesize large sets of pricing/operational data to easily understood data-driven stories. Supports commercial and planning efforts of the GVP Marketing, Director International Intermodal & Automotive Marketing and Manager Strategic Yield with their efforts to secure and retain Intermodal and Automotive traffic in accordance with volume and revenue goals set by IMAU Marketing
Principal Duties
Manage regular forecasting cycle process with updates from customers and macroenvironmental factors
Performs market analysis for International Intermodal and Automotive markets to understand opportunities for growth
Collaborates with Account Managers to ensure accuracy in forecasting and market analysis activities
Analyze data and trends to assist management in achieving revenue and market share goals
Reporting and analytical responsibilities are completed competently in a timely manner
Strong analytical background with Intermediate to advanced experience in Excel/SQL/Spotfire/Tableau and NS applications (e.g. Delphi, 9255, NSBI, Workbench)
Strong ability to create presentations with visual stories that drive value
Assist group management in coordination of events and meetings
Job Related Experience:
Minimum Level: Less than 2 years Preferred Level: 1-3 years
