Essential Functions
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times.
Perform maintenance technician skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, machinery assembly drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose process and machinery problems utilizing root cause failure analysis techniques, replace or repair equipment parts, test and adjust as required.
Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, basic shop machinery, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Required Education and General Maintenance Experience
High School Diploma/GED or Matriculation and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
Minimum/Enrolled in 2-year Associates Degree/Technical College Accreditation- Industrial Mech/Elec/Automation
3+ years of maintenance technician experience with strong analysis and repair skills in electrical ac/dc systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical applications, power transmission systems, fluid mechanics/properties, tubing and hosing applications, operation of mobile equipment, and machine safeguarding.
