The Role
As a content and learning designer on the Client Learning Design (CLD) team, you will design, develop, and deliver a variety of digital content and learning solutions for external clients using the Wealthscape(SM) platform, including online help, eLearning, and job aids.
The Team
The CLD team is focused on new innovations and methodologies to close learner gaps by providing meaningful content and learning experiences for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with fellow content designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and other cross-functional business partners to build these high-quality experiences.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5+ years of content design, learning/instructional design, or technical writing in a corporate setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and simplify complex concepts for target users
Effective time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Ability to manage tasks, issues, and solutions independently
Understanding of Agile and design thinking concepts a plus
Experience with HTML a plus
Experience in financial services and Wealthscape a plus
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field preferred

History of Fidelity Investments
The Fidelity Fund was established in 1930, a year after the stock market crash of 1929 and before the Great Depression of 1933. The fund continued to operate until 1943 when it was acquired by Boston-based lawyer Edward C. Johnson II. At the time, the fund reported assets under management valued at $3 million. In 1946, Johnson II founded the Fidelity Management and Research Company, now Fidelity Investments, to serve as an investment advisor to the Fidelity Fund. When running the fund, Johnson’s objective was to buy stocks with a potential for growth, and not necessarily blue-chip stocks.
Fidelity Investments Operations
