Delta Air Lines is seeking an Executive Compensation Programs Specialist to join the Compensation Programs team. This position will rely on strong analytical and business skills to provide data and complete complex financial models to support the design, development and effective administration of Delta’s global executive compensation and benefits structure.
Key responsibilities include:
Fulfill data and analytics requests for key executive compensation projects including the annual proxy statement, CEO Pay Ratio, executive compensation statements, audits, and other ad hoc projects.
Conduct executive job analysis and evaluation to develop compensation recommendations for certain levels of the organization
Maintain complex executive compensation models and database to ensure that pay decisions are market competitive and remain compliant with all internal and external controls.
Participate in annual executive compensation surveys and conduct analysis to support executive compensation structure development and maintenance.
Maintain catalog of job descriptions and executive structure in market pricing tool and assist with external benchmarking
Work with equity team to monitor data transfers to/from stock plan administrator and maintenance of governing documents for equity plans.
Ensure data integrity within systems and proper compliance of internal controls by performing timely reconciliations and regular monitoring/auditing.
Support equity team in day-to-day stock administration by liaising with payroll, supporting grant/vesting process, and liaising with legal for insider trading management.
Provide requirements and data support for compensation management tools used in planning.
Identify areas where data can be creatively used to improve business activities.
Assist with the administration of the corporate incentive compensation plans.
Assist with the design and development of compensation-related communications to Executives and Team Members.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience required
Advanced skills in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint required
At least 3-5 years of compensation, finance or analytical experience; working knowledge of Total Rewards and Executive Compensation concepts is a plus
Comfortable working with large raw data sets and translating to “tell the story” and develop effective pay solutions.
Understands market data and where it is sourced
Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Must be able to provide exceptional customer service
Must be a detail oriented
WorldatWork or IFEBP certifications a plus
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
