BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The Pipeline Operator will be responsible for all aspects of pipeline maintenance and operations as well as providing technical support in the in the field. They will assist the production team anytime support is needed.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience in lease operations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate safe and ethical behavior at all times.
• Has the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected.

• Become familiar with, understand, and apply all of Devon’s Policies.
• Work with production staff to troubleshoot areas of concern.
• Coordinate with chemical tech and take measures to ensure internal pipeline protection is sufficient. Ensure external pipeline protection is sufficient.
• Ensure oversight of digging and boring in and around lines (Line Crossing Inspections)
• Monitor pressures, volumes, and overall system balances on a regular basis
• Perform periodic visual inspections of lines
• Operate lines in compliance with all regulatory permits or DOT regulations.
• Provide information on emergency events to technical services foreman
• Keep pipeline map data current with GIS
• Maintain pigging schedule
• Perform corrective tasks based on work order (including overseeing vendors performing work)
• Provide any equipment changes to Master Data Maintainer
• Perform routine activities based on maintenance plans
• Provide any equipment changes to Master Data Maintainer
• Perform regulatory activities based on maintenance plans
• Understand economic evaluations and indicators and their effect on the area of responsibility.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations with strong support of the OKC staff.

• Position requires operation of Company vehicles. Incumbent must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies
