Develops policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

Responsibilities

Supervises quality assurance analysis to ensure consistent and reliable operation in a laboratory setting.
Implements quality control procedures for the laboratory.
Performs routine analysis to ensure the integrity of data, processes, and results and provides recommendations to improve quality standards.
Reviews and interprets test results to ensure accuracy, precision, and repeatability.
Performs calculations and determinations to validate results or specifications.
Validates and verifies methods and identifies issues that may affect the accuracy and integrity of test results.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.

Qualifications

Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
 

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree


Discipline/Major: Quality, Engineer or related degree preferred.

Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 3-5 years experience in a relevant function

Calibration, Laboratory Practice Quality Assurance (LPQA), Laboratory Results Reporting, Precision Measurement, Quality Assurance Process, Quality Control/Testing, Quality Improvement, Reliability Analysis, Analyze Lab Results, Laboratory Equipment Maintenance, Validation Protocols

Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
