Regional Sales Director – Work from Home – Dallas, TX, Houston TX preferred. Bilingual in Spanish REQUIRED.

In this role, you will have considerable responsibility in providing supervisory oversight in a large territory – Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona and be a people manager for area managers. In addition to ensuring that the sales performance of the region both meets and exceeds Western Union’s (WU)’s targets, you will play a key role in managing relationships, both with your direct reports, and also those of the tens of thousands of customers that we have in the region. This role will proactively search for new business opportunities while helping to increase customer retention. This individual needs to operate on a strategic level, and the execution level to be successful. Role Responsibilities

Fundamental role in identifying strategy for growth and areas of opportunity in the business.
Managing multiple Area Managers providing coaching, leading, training, and support as needed.
Visiting with customers, and handling escalations, when they occur.
Present to, and work with senior leadership, and at times, executive leadership with a high degree of professionalism and discretion working cross-departmentally within a global business.
This role will work extensively with independent business owners.

Role Requirements

At least five or more years of experience working at a director level within a similar industry, although consumer financial services or consumer money transfer would be ideal.
Demonstrated experience managing a team of managers
Bilingual in Spanish required.
A university degree is desired, though not required for this role.
This is a travel heavy role 25% regularly, 35% at first.

Salary

The on-target earnings range is $150,000 – 200,000 per year base, plus variable compensation and is eligible for long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
