Job Description

The Production Dumper is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials into large bins (Hopper) to feed product into feeding conveyors according to customer specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ·

Responsible for loading the equipment (Hopper) with raw products to start production safety by using correct lifting techniques.
Ensures the product flow at an optimal level at all times.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to Machine Operator or Supervisor or QA/QC Technician any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety
Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures and follow all company guidelines.
Effectively communicating relevant information to fellow employees on the shift and to on-coming employees at shift change.
Must be able to stack pallets and load box feeder.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the area including understanding the different types of cleanings based on the production run.
Other related tasks during production operation as assigned by Supervisor, including packing when assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)

High School Diploma/GED and/or equivalent related experience

Experience:

Experience in a manufacturing Production environment preferred but not required System Implementation Preferred Knowledge:
Understands Safety guidelines
Knowledge of applicable production management system (prod)

Skills/ Abilities:

Able to work in an environment containing Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Soy, Wheat, and Milk
Detail-oriented, good organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors including verbal and written instructions.
Ability to operating powered equipment
Dependable, responsible team player; good attendance
Have an understanding of procedures in other areas of production for a more global understanding of all processes.
Perform repetitive motions throughout shift such as push/pull/lift, bend continuously throughout the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift.
Ability to stand for a long period of time (duration of the shift (8 hours +).
