Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer, Crawler Hydraulics/Hydrostats for JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will:

Help maintain the Hydraulic and Hydrostat design for all current production Crawler Dozers and Crawler Loaders.
Lead projects to improve cost & reliability.
Implement & document design changes.
Assist the assembly line and customer support by troubleshooting issues.

What Skills You Need

(2 or more years) - Strong problem solving skills
(2 or more years) - Experience working in a team environment.
(1 or more years) - Engineering experience relating to fluid mechanics or hydraulics
(1 or more years) - Experience with 3D modeling tools (such as: Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD)

What Makes You Stand Out

Ability to read schematics
Hydraulics/hydrostatic knowledge or experience
Control systems knowledge or experience
Electrical and/or electronics knowledge or experience
Hydraulic plumbing knowledge or experience
Off-road vehicle knowledge or experience

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related engineering degree.
