In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. The Application Development Analyst II will be a key Digital Product Realization Enterprise team member.  Our mission is to attain, manage, and connect trusted digital models for confident reuse throughout product lifecycle activities.  Our vision is a transformation to a part-centric, model-based enterprise to improve product quality and product realization efficiency.  The selected candidate for this role will play a pivotal role in shaping and defining the CAD standards and processes related to Model-Based Definition (MBD) design. Their expertise will be crucial in designing the configuration of CREO, specifically focusing on effectively defining and managing MBD attributes and other Part Objects within a Part-Centric environment.  They will be part of a team responsible for implementing best practices and ensuring seamless integration of MBD design within the Windchill system. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing and optimizing CAD standards and processes while leveraging cutting-edge technologies to streamline design workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs complex administrative support and/or office duties, develops methods, and performs quantitative and special analyses and studies of an administrative nature covering a wide variety of functions.
May perform administrative duties for a Business Unit leader and their supporting staff. 
Performs varied administrative duties requiring judgment, initiative, and a knowledge of the functions to support the function/organization. 
Schedules appointments; assembles necessary background material for scheduled meetings; makes arrangements for meetings and conferences as required. 
May schedule and coordinate travel and off-site meetings. 
Answers questions and requests requiring detailed knowledge of office procedures and the functional group that may require collecting information from business systems, applications, files, or other departments. 
Prepares reports from information selected and generated from different sources based on general instructions, using independent judgment to create or obtain pertinent data. 
Operates PC and software applications to generate tables, charts, memoranda, reports, and correspondence.
May maintain databases and manage electronic calendars and email. 
May mentor new administrative employees to assimilate into the business or function. 
Establishes and maintains accurate computer and document files and records continuously. 
Handle department classified and confidential information as needed.

You Must Have:

U.S. citizenship is needed to obtain and maintain the required US Dept of Energy "Q"-level security clearance.
Two or more years of direct work experience
Bachelor’s degree, certification, or two additional years of direct work exp in lieu of Bachelor’s degree or certification
Programming experience in various major programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python)
