Function Job Description

Lead the product change and commercialization processes for assigned projects in a to be determined category or brand. This individual interfaces extensively with multiple levels of Marketing, Sales, Finance, Quality, R&D and all functions within the Integrated Supply Chain (Product Supply, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service/Logistics) to deliver within the specified time, cost, and quality parameters.  This role is responsible for facilitating cross functional project teams, ensuring the integrity of the i2m process is maintained while also playing a critical role in project execution, managing project scope, goals, tasks, and resource (people & cost) requirements.  

Additional tasks will be within the Data Commercialization Team. The Data Commercialization team is a newer team that helps Product Change Managers setup SKU numbers and issue Product listings. It is also the link between the Commercialization team and the Master Data Team. This is a critical step within the Project Commercialization process as Product Listings and SKU numbers are used between multiple functions. The Jr Product Change Manager will be responsible for setting up SKU numbers and working alongside the Product Change Manager’s and Master Data to have new SKU numbers extended. This involves extensive data input on short timelines.  

In addition, the Intern participates in several recurring process/governance meetings including project approval meetings (PAM) preparation, and quarterly project evaluations.  Escalating issues, concerns to enable resolution.  

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Lead Commercialization effort for assigned brand, productivity, and quality improvement projects.  Ensure effective team engagement, including establishing and managing recurring team meetings.  Review project timelines and cost regularly with the project team, facilitate creation of mitigation/contingency plans and manage communication.  Manage multiple projects concurrently. 

2. Ensures compliance and champions the idea to market (i2M) process, including participation of governance meetings and the application of i2M toolkit, appropriate project documentation, innovation through post project assessment.  Provides updates to leadership, project sponsors and stakeholders as needed on key initiatives, including progress against deliverables, cost management, next steps and needs from sponsors to alleviate hurdles.  Escalate concerns and issues, report project fact base, define options/trade-offs, and provide team recommendation. 

3. Lead project kick-off for approved projects (PDR), defining project scope and deliverables with the execution team.  identifying risks and execution plans, while ensuring adequate network capability (capacity/technology) and identifying impacts across the supply chain (cost of goods sold, route to market, capacity utilization, DIOH, manufacturing efficiency, quality, safety).  Timeline management.  

4. Champion the Commercialization process (i2M) to stakeholders and business partners, providing education, best practice sharing and enhancement ideas, drives commercialization excellence via training, continuous improvement, and systems and i2m toolkit development/optimization. 

5. Support PCMs with their SKU set-up activities.  This includes change requests for new products and changes to products. Also includes new direct materials 

6. Follow-up with cross-functional team members to complete their activities on time and to verify correctness of data. 

7. Coordinate and organize product (change request) status updates with PCMs. 

8. Work closely with Master Data to ensure Product Listings and Publications are done by due dates

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of work experience
Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Mondel?z International (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status.

Compensation

The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $1,800 - $1,900.
Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
