The revenue cycle outsourcing market is a growth area for Optum Insight. As such Optum is seeking to hire a Solution Sales executive to join its dynamic sales team. The Solution Sales Executive (SSE), RCM Services, will be responsible for leading the sales process with both current and net new customers focusing on hospitals and health systems within a given geography.
The role is a remote based position and is open to candidates in the US who have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. The territory for this role is still being evaluated, but potential territories could be within the following states: WI, IL, IA, AR, LA, WA, OR, NV, and MN.

Primary Responsibilities:
Use prospecting skills and techniques to introduce RCM and Patient Access Scheduling services to hospitals and health systems in the territory
Working as part of a team, lead sales opportunities from beginning through implementation hand off. Create solid internal working relationships with client executives, SE counterparts, product management, finance, delivery assurance and advisory professionals to creatively solve client problems on behalf of Optum
Facilitate resolution of major sales objections and customer escalations presented by potential and existing customers
Call on and effectively introduce Optum to key decision makers, including C Suite
Articulate Optum benefits and value adds to maximize and expand deal size
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of revenue cycle management process to prospects and customers, building both individual and company credibility
Maintain and update salesforce daily for timely reporting and forecasting
Follow OI sales approval processes for all opportunities
Manage the contracting process through execution stage to ensure successful outcomes
Effectively leverage company tradeshow events to build new funnel, and close new sales opportunities
Meet or exceed annual sales targets

Required Qualifications:
2+ years proven successful Healthcare Sales experience
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle (front, middle or back)
Proven track record of year over year sales success in driving growth and /or quota attainment
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling Revenue Cycle Services to the healthcare market, especially to health systems
Experience with Salesforce
Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful strategies for growing sales
Currently reside or have health system sales experience in one/several of the following states: WA, OR, NV, MN, WI, IL, IA, AR, LA
