Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities are:

Support all team members under the Capital Intelligence team, including Capital Introductions, Business Consulting and Content with a focus on the capital introductions component to the team.
Working within project management, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM system
Will work with members of the team to provide coverage of investors who are allocating to hedge and other alternative asset managers (family offices, E&F’s, pensions, consultants and fund of funds). The role will evolve as a primary coverage point for hedge funds and investors as well.
Ownership and maintenance of presentation materials, reports, content pieces,
Ability to work with a variety of lines of business across equities, banking and research, especially with the prime services and research sales teams.
Intellectual curiosity and desire to understand client strategies and the different products and services internally
Advising hedge fund clients on their capital raising initiatives which may include strategic positioning, product expansion and competitive intelligence
Conducting statistical analysis of hedge fund performance data using various data vendors
Supporting the execution of capital introduction conferences and client roadshows across the US
Assisting in the research and data gathering efforts of the capital intelligence team to assist the business consulting services and strategic content efforts of the group.

Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, sharing of information and collaboration is essential for success
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, VBA & Access Database skills
Strong data manipulation and reporting skills
Ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
An understanding of hedge fund strategies and the Prime Brokerage model would be useful.
CFA or CAIA would be useful but not required
Series 7 and 63 will be required – does not need to already have these licenses yet but preferred
Strong team player and understands the importance of teamwork
Ability to multi-task and have a strong awareness of time management
Strong communicator and presentation skills
Confident in a client setting and client-facing role
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness is essential as well as multi-tasking. Meeting deadlines, proactivity and being punctual with assignments is key
Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment
Bachelor’s degree required
