Position Summary:
Assists department supervision in observing, monitoring production work flow identifying bottlenecks, assisting with associate observations and resolving production issues. Assists associates in achieving performance standards in safe, efficient manner following prescribed methods. Assists supervisor in assignment of resources to where production demands. Troubleshoots, identifies production issues and communicates to supervision for resolution. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions:
Drives performance on the production floor
Assists production associates with issues impeding work flow
Assists supervision in assigning resources as needed
Observes and coaches associates
Provides remedial training as necessary
Conducts associate meetings

Minimum Position Qualifications:
2-3 years distribution center experience as production associate
Solid computer skills operating production systems to track production flow
Ability to coach and train associates
Solid understanding of product flow on floor
Strong verbal communication skills, ability interact effectively with diverse population
Desired Previous Job Experience
High school education or equivalent
Prior coaching, team lead and or training experience
Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and programs
