Job Description

The Occupational Therapist I must intervene appropriately meeting the needs of patients with impaired mental, vision, hearing, or mobility.

JOB DUTIES - The Occupational Therapist I shall evaluate and treat patients; maintain communication with doctors and other health personnel; and supervise COTAs, aides, volunteers and students. The Occupational Therapist I will assist with education for the occupational therapy staff, hospital staff, and community at large. The Occupational Therapist I will follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY - Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board and licensed or eligible for license by the Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
