Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Creative Video Specialist to join our Learning and Development Team. As the video production leader, you will be pivotal in creating engaging and compelling video content that supports our organization's learning initiatives. Your creativity, technical expertise, and strong storytelling skills will be essential in designing impactful visual experiences that enhance the learning journey of our employees.

Responsibilities:

Instructional Design: Understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
Video Production: Take ownership of the end-to-end video production process, including planning, build shot lists, scripting from scratch, storyboarding, shooting, editing, and post-production.
Content Creation: Develop innovative and visually compelling video content that aligns with the learning objectives and target audience, incorporating various formats such as animations, live-action, interviews, demonstrations, and simulations.
Storytelling: Craft narratives and scripts that effectively convey complex concepts and learning outcomes, ensuring clarity, engagement, and knowledge retention.
Multimedia Integration: Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to integrate video content seamlessly into broader learning materials and platforms, such as e-learning modules, presentations, and virtual classrooms.
Video Editing and Post-production: Utilize professional video editing software and tools to refine and enhance raw footage, add graphics, animations, sound effects, music, voiceovers, and subtitles as necessary.
Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in video production, multimedia, and e-learning to continually improve the quality and impact of our video content.
Equipment Management: Maintain and organize video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and editing software/hardware.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders, to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
Quality Control: Ensure that all video content meets the organization's branding guidelines, quality standards, and accessibility requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall learning experience through video content.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Film Production, Multimedia Design, Communication, or a related discipline).
5 years of experience in video production, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and other relevant tools for motion graphics, special effects, and audio editing.
Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and multimedia integration in a learning context.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
Flexibility and adaptability to embrace changing priorities, requirements, and emerging technologies in the field of video production and learning.
