Job Description

The Senior Analyst of Strategic Sourcing is a key team member of the global strategic sourcing team, and is accountable for enabling strategies to deliver sustainable results across a range of subcategories within HR Services which may include Benefits, Training, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition.

Essential Functions:

•Support category leaders, and at times lead directly, complex cross functional global teams for sourcing projects. Ensure team milestones are agreed, met and ensure quality reporting to steering teams.

•Ensure all commercial and financial principals of total cost of ownership are applied to sourcing efforts and provide the necessary data to support business decisions. Includes timely intelligence gathered on commodity market trends that may impact the business.

•Keeps up to date with internal supplier usage and developments within categories and will deliver analyses necessary to enable supplier business reviews.

•Works with global peers and stakeholders to support global strategies

•Drives improvements to overall P2P process and can educate others on the benefits of the processes and tools.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 5+ years of experience in Procurement
• Deep understanding of cost models and performance metrics
• Past experiences challenging the status quo by developing business cases for change through leveraging business acumen, market intelligence, and insights to drive a broad strategic impact across an organization
• Demonstrated contract and agreement negotiation experience, including development of negotiating plans and strategies across a broad range of Corporate Services and Facilities
• Strong relationship-management skills and ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with, senior-to-exec management. You need to be able to tell compelling stories through insights and data
• Undergraduate degree required, graduate degree preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
