Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the Regulatory Affairs, Public Affairs, Commercial Operations and Environmental teams with compliance reporting, accounting coordination and general administrative duties.  This role will also serve as an interface to a variety of external stakeholders and organizations.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and a quick learner with strong accounting and organizational skills. 

The candidate must be skilled and flexible at managing multiple projects, have strong time management skills while maintaining attention to detail, excellent communications skills and a positive attitude.  A polite and professional demeanor and strong desire to help others is a must. 

Main Responsibilities:

Notary for affidavits for regulatory filings and financing applications, as needed.
General Administrative duties for the teams including managing subscriptions, software licenses, sponsorships and memberships; event registration and travel coordination; purchase and maintain necessary office supplies; event coordination including assisting with visitors.
Booking and coordination of international travel for Environmental team.
Accounting/Procurement duties for the teams including coordination of vendor management and internal coordination of purchase requisitions, check requests, ensuring payment of invoices, accrual updates, and budget updates and tracking.
Regulatory compliance duties including providing public notifications of regulatory filings and circulating to stakeholders as required; supporting the preparation and filing of rate proceedings and related reporting requirements; supporting efforts of tariffs & rate administration including ensuring current tariffs are on website.
Government Affairs compliance duties including PAC contribution tracking and assistance to PAC Secretary; coordination and support for lobbying efforts including registrations, compliance reporting and ongoing activity tracking.

Qualifications:

One to three years of compliance, administrative or utility industry experience
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Notary, both traditional and remote
Skilled in accounting basics; experience with SAP a plus
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-starter and capable of functioning with minimum supervision
Adaptability, eager to learn and enjoys helping others

Education

Two-year college degree or equivalent, in Accounting or Compliance related fields preferred
