As a Senior Software Developer, you will work in a team developing systems to monitor and control wireline logging tools and associated data processing applications. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to participate in the long-term development of a cloud platform with a multitude of ongoing and future planned projects.
As the Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
Working with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans and to understand product requirements & vision
Translating requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
Writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Working on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Applying the principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Driving increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product, technology reuse and world-class quality in the development and support of products
Supporting process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Graduate Degree or higher in Computer Science or another relevant field
Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience
Have a proven track record developing applications and services on Windows
Be proficient in programming in C, C++ and C#
Have a highly motivated self-starting approach with strong problem solving and debugging skills
Not essential but some experience with JavaScript, Angular, Electron, Node.js and C++ addons, RESTful APIs and JSON is a plus
