Our state of the art Mold Shop is looking for a for skilled Machinists or Operators that would be responsible for setting up and operating multiple machine types to produce precision parts. This is an opportunity for you to work in a fast pace environment with a close knit team. If you want a position to really kick start your career, this is a great position for you!
These machines would include 5-axis engraving machines and Vertical Turning Lathes. Knowledge of Heidenhain, Makino Pro6, HAAS and Fanuc controllers is preferred.
Work environment is climate controlled and ISO certified.
Basic Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Machinist or Operator
Experience operating CNC machines
Experience doing machine changeovers
Proficient with setting up and changing out tooling on CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret machining blueprints
Proficient with loading and editing programs
Proficient with micrometers, calipers and Faro inspection equipment
Mechanical aptitude
Strong math skills
Physical strength to lift heavy parts
Preferred Qualifications:
Working towards an Associates Degree or certification
Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating 5-axis machines
Previous experience operating CNC machining equipment and CAM programming or completed trade school or an apprenticeship in machining
