Fluor is looking for an experienced commercial Electrician capable of performing conduit installation, installation of grounding and bonding systems and vapor seal fittings to support our Global Government Services business line in the DMV area and projects overseas.
•Perform conduit installation, installation of grounding and bonding systems and vapor seal fittings.
•This position entails advanced blueprint reading, material takeoff, job layout, long radius conduit bending, checkout, merging wire, wire identification, tagging, lighting installation, basic rigging, pre-startup maintenance on motors, basic trouble shooting of control and lighting systems, familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures and installation of PVC.
•Perform three phase motor terminations (high and low voltage) installation of busing systems, knowledge of proper use and care of test equipment and proper transformer connections.
•Other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements
•High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and four (4) years to seven (7) years related experience.
• Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

• Required local travel in the DMV area for local projects.
• May be required to travel internationally – assignments can be up to 5 months
• Occasional weekend, evening, and after hours work may be required
• Journeyman license/certificate or equivalent is required

• Prior Military and/ or Contingency Operations experience
