Job Description:

Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is looking for dedicated individual to become part of our Project Discipline organization.  HSE is looking for a highly motivated Integrated Product Team (IPT) leader to support our Operational Engines. This position is for an experienced IPT lead to provide project management to an integrated product team made up of design, structural and durability engineers.  The teams are tasked with sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations and product enhancements.  The teams also resolve manufacturing and overhaul issues in support of spares part deliveries and fleet sustainment.  The IPT leader is accountable for performance of the engineering teams to meet task requirements including technical, quality, schedule, and cost targets that have been agreed upon with the customer. The IPT leader will work with the Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) to plan, acquire, and manage appropriate budgets for specific IPT tasks. The position requires excellent communication and team leadership skills as well as the ability to operate across a wide range of disciplines and management levels with both internal and external customers to ensure that task requirements are met. 

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Engineering

5+ years of engineering experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree

US Citizen due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degrees in engineering or business administration.

Knowledge and experience with Project Management toolsets (MS Project, Risk based decision making, proposal generation, task baselining & management)

Demonstrated technical leadership experience managing engineering teams, budgets, and schedules

Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and trending skills

Demonstrated effective communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities

Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (CORE, QCPC, Process Certification, Six Sigma)

Engineering experience with hot section gas turbine components
