What you'll do...

Write and fine-tune SQL queries in Snowflake (structured and semi-structured data) to feed reporting and analytics

Troubleshoot data-related issues

Design, build, and enhance dashboards in AWS QuickSight, Tableau, and other similar data visualization tools

Perform data-wrangling and ETL using Python

Communicate risk-based and data-driven metrics, reporting and insights for data protection at various levels of the organization

Engage stakeholders with the objective to provide impactful insights while also learning about the various Cyber processes and technologies at Capital One

Build relationships with subject matter experts in various functions within Cyber and beyond

You have strong analytical skills

You are detail oriented

You are independent, but also able to collaborate as part of a team

You are self-aware about when to ask for help

You have demonstrated communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization

You have strong developer skills in SQL (Python is a plus), and extensive experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

At least 4 years of professional experience in analytics/reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline

3+ years experience in enterprise security metrics and risk analytics

3+ years in public cloud security and multi-cloud environments

AWS Certified Data Analytics, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent certification(s)

Experience in financial services
