ROLE DEFINITION? 

Our manufacturing facility near Buffalo, NY is currently seeking an Information Technology Infrastructure Technician. In this role you will work with vendors, end users, support teams, and project groups to create IT solutions in support of a 24/7/365 manufacturing facility. Systems integration support including design, build, and implementation of IT infrastructure as well as end user support are key components of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION?? 

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:? 

Provide IT support for manufacturing systems, security, and business infrastructure for the facility to ensure 24/7 operation of production lines
Provide on-call support during off hours as critical issues arise
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues across the full range of hardware/software utilized onsite
Provision of end user device support
Act as a network, server, and file share administrator

JOB QUALIFICATIONS? 

Requirements:? 

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science and 2+years of experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Knowledge of Active Directory, domain controllers, process control networks and login scripts is required
Familiarity with network architecture as well as an understanding of IP subnetting, the ability to configure Cisco switches, maintain network cabling, and rack, commission/maintain network devices is also required
Experience with SQL Server administration and/or server and desktop integrated applications is preferred
