General Summary:
Qualcomm is looking to hire a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Operations Finance Department. Operations Finance serves as a critical partner to Business Operations, Sourcing, and Supply Chain. Operations Finance helps our business partners make informed decisions and maximize value through mitigating potential losses due to excess and obsolete inventory, tracking and monitoring cost model changes and their impact to the P&L, modeling ROI for strategic investments, among other activities.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in financial analysis, communication, accounting and research. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, Oracle, and strong analytical and technical financial modeling skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, TM1, Tableau
Strong verbal and written communication
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare cost of sales inputs for quarterly forecasts
Partner with Sourcing to understand cost model changes and their P&L impact
Prepare and present reports to business and finance leadership on cost savings opportunities and achievement
Track and monitor compliance with royalty reporting for licensed IP (intellectual property) used in the product portfolio
Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for vendor rebates and IP royalties
Ad-hoc projects related to cost savings, product spend analysis, capacity needs, etc.
