The Firmwide Sponsorship Team is seeking a Director/Senior Manager of Brand Sponsorships to align our brand with the interests and passions of our people, our clients, and our prospective clients. We are seeking a seasoned manager who can think strategically, develop marketing programs, has the ability to manage complex program details, and has the desire to contribute to our global sponsorship strategy and project deliverables. A successful applicant will demonstrate strong creative skills along with initiative, resourcefulness and ability to work proactively while collaborating in a team environment. Our future Director should be someone with experience leading and activating major sponsorship programs, coupled with a customer-centric mentality.
Responsibilities
-Support Sponsorship & Marketing Leadership in implementing the long-term vision and strategy for brand partnerships and sponsorships that brings visibility to the brand across key audiences
-Support the development of an evaluation model and criteria for partnership and sponsorship opportunities to ensure alignment with our brand, our values, and our business goals
-Coordinate with external partners (publishers, agencies, brand ambassadors, etc.) and internal partners (sourcing, public relations, media, content, and events teams) to create integrated, best-in-class online and offline experiences that maximize sponsorship value
-Manage the fulfillment of all advertising & branded materials related to sponsorship and ambassador agreements, including completing creative briefs
-Assist with the development and implementation of sponsorship campaigns including assisting with photo shoots, creative development, content production, and trafficking creative assets to the business owners and legal for review and approval
-Partner with the research and analytics teams to ensure proper measurement of relevant KPIs for all partnerships and sponsorships, demonstrating tangible brand and business impact
-Remain active with stakeholders and deliver executive-level summaries to provide status, communicate dependencies and ensure alignment to strategic goals and deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
-5+ years of proven experience in sponsorship strategy and management working with sponsorship properties, leagues, teams/clubs, ambassadors and/or influencers. Brand side experience a plus.
-Experience managing agency teams in sponsorship strategy and execution
-Experience developing sponsorship, partnership or co-brand strategies and recommendations including identification, assessment, overseeing execution of contractual assets, and competitive analysis
-Ability to build and nurture cross-functional collaborative relationships to manage strategic, integrated multi-platform, multi-asset sponsorships and campaigns
-Experience translating business objectives into effective partnership and campaigns; experience crafting creative briefs to inspire and galvanize agency partners to deliver breakthrough creative solutions
-Possess strong creative instincts and judgment?interest in popular culture, specifically sports, art, and entertainment a plus
-Strong analytical background; ability to digest data from internal/external data sources and provide actionable recommendations to drive performance with KPIs
-Self-motivated and resourceful with excellent project management skills; able to outline effective project plans and timelines
-Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
-Results-driven and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; high attention to accuracy and detail/organization
