Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with the team in planning meetings and special events, as well as organize all amenities, accommodations, and related departments including site selection, staffs, food, transportation, and audio or visual equipment. In this role, you will work on centralizing event processes and materials.

The Marketing and Communications - Events and Experiential - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Ensure events meet business objectives and marketing goals.
Maintain the event budgets and participate in negotiations of all necessary contracts.
Create the cost reports for key stakeholders.
Contribute to identifying solutions and implementing technology that can make events more efficient and effective.
Maintain relationships with vendors that will support events across markets.

Bachelor degree or equivalent
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
Skilled in the end-to-end organization and management of small to large scale events including: budgeting, timelines, reservations, food, and transportation
The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
The group of skills related to Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Experience forecasting, predicting, and monitoring financials with a focus on ratios, equities, and debts
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
Experience using SharePoint
Skilled in Excel
Experience using scheduling software to book events
