We have a Plant Administrative & Payroll Coordinator at our Tampa, FL location! As the Plant Administrative & Payroll Coordinator, you will process payroll for the hourly staff and support the plant leadership team with all administrative support needs.
What You Will Be Responsible:
Process weekly hourly payroll, garnishments, manual checks, expense reports.
Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to the following:
Schedule meetings for plant leadership and manage plant calendar
Greet & escort visitors
Distribute mail
May have to originate travel for plant leadership
Procure, replenish and maintain supplies, services and equipment including marketing materials for giveaways
Organize plant business, social activities, and community involvement events.
Answer, direct, screen, and place telephone calls.
Assist with dunnage receipts, scrap worksheets, and/or metal receipts as needed.
Assist with administrative details associated with logistics of recruiting and onboarding employees.
Maintain required forms, documents, records, and personnel files on a regular basis, may be asked to create new forms and documents.
Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the plant safety program, training materials, library, and visual aids.
Originate and distribute plant monthly newsletter and responsible for updating communication boards within the plant.
Comply with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work environment.
Participate in plant specific projects and teams, as requested by leadership.
What We Are Seeking:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
2 years payroll experience.
2 or more years of administrative and/or office management experience.
Proficiency with standard software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong customer focus and drive to achieve results.
Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
Experience handling sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
Ability and willingness to work in both an office and manufacturing environment, including following all safety policies and wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications:
Human Resources experience.
