Job Description
- Manage the Purchasing Team
- Understand and support the Procurement Policy and Procedures
- Working knowledge and understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Work directly with Lines of Business to procure goods and services needed for the organization
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely demand management
- Maintaining Contract Data integrity within the designated Procurement System
- Assist with the creation of new process flows and coordination with Spain/US
- Analyzing contracts to denote what legal obligations will be maintained during the course of BBVA’s relationship with vendors
- Working with the team to track contract status and renewals
- Assisting with new process flows and coordination with Spain/US
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree of Higher
- 5-10 years of Experiences in Procurement/Sourcing
- Working Knowledge of the RFx process
- Familiarity with reading and analyzing legal documents
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets) & Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Workday functionality, or the ability to quickly learn and use new applications
- Comfortable with a hybrid work environment
- Well organized, self-motivated, and team player
- Invested in relationship building
- A willingness to invest in training and growth of team members
- Experience in finance industry preferred
- Spanish Proficiency is a plus (not required)
