JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance and Technical Training Manager is responsible for oversight and conduct of the Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry, and Radiation Protection (RP) training programs at the Farley site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills )

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematic disciplines is preferred.

Background/Experience Requirements:

A total of six (6) years of commercial power plant experience of which a minimum of three (3) years is nuclear power plant experience.

Commercial nuclear training experience

Knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process

Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure training is effectively used to improve the performance, proficiency, knowledge, and skills of line and training personnel.

Maintain accreditation, qualifications and licenses for the station maintenance and technical training programs and fleet engineering training program.

Ensure initial maintenance and technical training is used to train and develop personnel to supply the staffing needs of the station and export talent across the organization.

Act as training conscience and Systematic Approach to Training subject matter experts for the site.

Providing oversight for the conduct of all initial and continuing Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry, and RP training programs

Ensuring Maintenance and Technical training program durations are aligned to industry best

Ensuring Maintenance and Technical training program qualification structures are streamlined and effective

Direct oversight of Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry, and RP training program instructors

Ensuring Maintenance, Engineering, Chemistry and RP Training Programs maintain accreditation

Fill a designated position in the Emergency Response Organization

Support site refueling outage preparation and execution
