Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The facilities supervisor responsibilities include:

• Set and reinforce management standards and expectations in the workplace.

• Monitor performance while developing and provide feedback to assigned personnel.

• Has oversight responsibility for facility upkeep, fire protection, exit signs and other surveillances, heavy equipment operations, support of maintenance and grass/landscaping maintenance.

• Ensure personnel are developed to their potential in keeping with company requirements/needs.

• First line administration of SNC/IBEW Memorandum of Agreement.

• Will learn and strengthen leadership skills to enhance future leadership potential

• Oversight of Facilities safety and performance observation program.

• Oversight of contractors/vendors while acting as contract administrator and/or task director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, post high school education is preferred

Experience Requirements

• Four [4] years related work experience to include 2 years nuclear plant experience , preferably in Operations, Health Physics or Maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of plant layout and functional operation.

• Strong background in procedure use

• Working knowledge of timekeeping systems, P-6 and D-2.

• Able to work in any environment demanded of the work force, including temperature extremes and elevations.
