Corporate Vice President, Senior Digital Product Manager

Job Description

This role serves as a Senior Digital Product Manager for New York Life's GuideMe product, a proprietary platform that currently covers basic life insurance needs analysis, and has ambitious plans to add a platform of new capabilities and products around more expansive fact finding, non-life products, accumulation, retirement income planning, college funding planning, etc. This role has accountability for creating the digital strategy that brings to life all of these new capabilities and products in a coherent and unified user experience, and in a way that can set NYL up to reach its performance goals around agent productivity and sales growth. This role will work cross-functionally to implement the strategy laid out, overseeing a series of high profile, cross functional digital initiatives. The strategy laid out will be evaluated based on its ability to drive Agency’s productivity (case rate) and sales goals (volume, products per household) for new org agents, as well as overall end user satisfaction. This role will work closely with business counterparts in Recruiting & Development, Eagle, NYLSEC, Life and other products, as well as Digital, EDM, EIS, and Agency Technology on the technology side.

Responsibilities

Develop vision and digital strategy for GuideMe suite of digital products and capabilities
Implement vision and digital strategy for GuideMe suite of digital products and capabilities
Lead a portfolio of high profile, cross-functional digital projects to deliver on core elements of the digital strategy
Partner with UX team, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure mobile-first, consumer grade digital experiences
Partner with Product Owner team and Technology partners to ensure high-quality, efficient execution of key initiatives
Serve as primary evangelist of digital capabilities with internal and field stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of relevant experience (5+ years in product management)
Exceptional, senior-level communication skills required
Deep subject matter expertise with SFDC ecosystem of solutions 
Deep experience in asset management or wealth management
Must understand how new org agents are trained and developed, the New York Life selling process, and NYL's wealth management strategy 
Must be able to stitch together a coherent strategy across very disjointed current work practices and platforms (GuideMe, eMoney, Envestnet, etc.)
Must have the vision to solve business challenges with current digital strategies/tactics and work with technology partners to guide the implementation of those strategies.     
Must be able to think creatively in broad whitespace
Must be able to apply an in-depth understanding of enterprise digital tools to delivering against the needs called out by the business
