Overview

Supplier Quality Analyst Senior - Groton, Connecticut

The Supplier Quality (SQ) Analyst is responsible for assuring contracted material and accompanying documentation conforms to Purchase Order (PO) requirements. The SQ Analyst interprets part description and PO data to determine requirements, selects the appropriate inspection plan, then directs and oversees hardware inspection.

SQ Analyst duties include: analyzing specifications and certifications for conformity; developing and executing inspection plans; devising and implementing quality procedures; communicating technical details, both verbally and in writing, with EB engineering and inspection, and with external suppliers; recognizing and resolving emergent quality issues.

This position may require travel ranging from 25% up to 50%

Qualifications

Required:

4+ years of relevant professional experience
Able to interpret contractual requirements, manufacturing drawings, and military or commercial specifications
Proficient in MS-Office and related software
Demonstrate strong independent management skills
Must be willing and able to travel up to 25%

Preferred:

Trade school experience, a Technical degree or equivalent experience
Previous experience in manufacturing background using precision measuring tools
