Your Responsibilities
As an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for Construction and Forestry Division located in Dubuque, IA you will…
Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigate, gather, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks
Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope
Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope
Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions
Develop and implement plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing. Design layouts to improve material flow and material presentation
Participate in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency
Implement new manufacturing processes and technology
Modify existing performance pay plans; assist in development of baseline data for new wage performance pay plans

What Skills You Need
Background in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.) or relevant work experience
Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools
Understanding of New Product introductions and/or production support
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities
Working knowledge of database management tools and process management systems
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases
Experience in Project management and business planning
Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline, or equivalent related work experiences
