If you are an Information Technology professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, Minnesota location, you will provide technical support and leadership in the maintenance, design, and implementation of business systems used by the Customer Financial Services group. You will also create, analyze, and distribute financial reporting within various applications. Your duties and responsibilities will be completed under the general guidance of the CFS Transaction and Web Billing Manager. You must be skilled in timely & effective communication, along with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functional teams.
AS A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Take ownership of analysis, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems, including but not limited to:
Designs and maintains databases used for CFS financial reporting.
Implementation and Project Management of CFS business systems.
Engage and coordinate with Business Unit IT Functional Leaders for data extract requirements.
Coordinating/providing user testing & training.
Assisting with the software evaluation including vendor analysis.
Communicating evaluation data to management.
Create, analyze, and distribute financial reporting, primarily via Power BI.
Serve as primary technical contact for Customer Financial Services. Coordinate other technical tasks with local and overseas resources.
Be responsible for the maintenance and support of existing business systems such as those used for collections automation, A/R workflow and daily bank files. Handles various system issues and recommends solutions.
Assist in initiating, developing, documenting & implementing functional processes & procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of business systems analysis experience
Database knowledge
Proven knowledge and experience with Excel Power Query and Power BI tools
SQL/Toad experience
Advanced Excel and Access skills
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
6+ years of business or systems analyst experience
