The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a  13-month (fixed duration employee) program for people without a 4-year degree. As a Lilly Professional Apprentice you will receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will have the opportunity to advance their careers, including consideration for full-time positions at Lilly.

Provide support to laboratory staff in the preparation of reagents, buffers, and mobile phases. Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate stock of general laboratory supplies. Assist in requesting and shipping materials to and from the lab. Develop lab-based skills to support various projects across the Lilly portfolio, starting with basic sample preparation (e.g. sample pipetting, dilution) and progressing to more advanced sample preparation techniques as proficiency is demonstrated. Interact with various laboratory systems including electronic laboratory notebooks, Watson LIMS, plate washers/readers, laboratory automation, and LC-MS systems. Maintain general lab cleanliness and organization. 

Additional Skills and Requirements:

•    At least 2 years of college and/or associate degree in a related field.
