The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 13-month (fixed duration employee) program for people without a 4-year degree. As a Lilly Professional Apprentice, you will receive a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will have the opportunity to advance their careers, including consideration for full-time positions at Lilly.
The LRL Project Management Apprentice provides project administration support to the LRL PM team to support the application and integration of key project management processes and tools across teams to deliver asset and portfolio value with quality, on time, on budget and within scope.
Responsibilities:
Project Management Apprentice Support consists of the following:
Help coordinate publication of monthly project management newsletters (use MS Word, SharePoint, Outlook)
Help with administration of electronic storage locations, including security (i.e., SharePoint, MS Teams)
Help update templates used by project managers (i.e., Prism timelines)
Conduct acceptance testing for project management systems prior to new releases (i.e., Prism, Polaris)
Help to maintain process documentation for project management functions (use MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Help with meeting agendas and minutes for various project management forums (use MS Word, Outlook)
Help with administration of LRL wide initiatives (i.e., award programs)
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience.
Completion of post offer exam or completion of work simulation if applicable.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
At least 1 year of college and/or associate degree in a related field
Experience, knowledge and desire to work in STEM
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
