As the Senior Group Manager, Walmart Insights you will lead insights and ideas that unlock innovation opportunities for Colgate-Palmolive and Walmart partnership. Build integrated and insightful stories to advise business decisions and find opportunities to elevate Colgate and Walmart growth. As well as be the voice and advocate of the Walmart shopper within Colgate and in front of Walmart stakeholders, driving positive change for category evolution and new innovation.

What you will do

Partner with commercial excellence, innovation and retailer teams to drive Walmart learning and innovation agenda, with autonomy as the Insights expert and accountability for deep, concrete shopper understanding
Promote experimentation and innovation in non-traditional insights generation approaches and co-creation, uncovering outstanding needs of the Walmart shopper and emerging trends that drive better category decision making
Be the expert on the Walmart shopper and a catalyst for growth through data-driven and strategic insights, addressing attitudes, behaviors, motivations and difficulties
Demonstrate strong, creative storytelling skills and leverage experience with weaving insights from multiple data sources into a cohesive and persuasive narrative in customer-facing forums
Collaborate with and influence a complex group of senior partners, including internal Colgate colleagues (VP & GM of Walmart Customer Development, Director of Walmart Customer Development) and external Walmart team members (VP of Personal Care & Oral Care, Buying Director of Oral Care)

Required Qualifications

10+years of experience in research, with focus on innovation within CPG or retail
Experience in a customer-facing Insights role
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong foundational knowledge of research tools and techniques
Aim to generate new initiatives and see them through to action
Proven experience with disruptive innovation
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Entrepreneurial attitude
Strong business-acumen
Ability to challenge the status quo
Ability to negotiate and influence
25-50% travel required
