We are looking for an experienced Commercial Lending Relationship Manager to join Amegy’s Healthcare and Not for Profit team. We will consider candidates in the Dallas, Houston, or Austin markets. This role focuses on identifying appropriate lending opportunities, soliciting, and developing all types of business activity specializing in commercial loans. Our Lenders act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients in the Healthcare/Not for Profit 501c space.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for developing strong, low risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.
Maintains a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients.
Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgment.
Cross sell other bank products.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A four-year college degree in business, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred with direct Not for Profit 501(c) lending or Healthcare/Professional Services experience preferred. A concentration in C&I or other complex credit and commercial lending is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Knowledge of commercial loans, credit and/or related lending processes and procedures is required.
Local candidates are highly preferred. Requires knowledge of local networks with expertise and pipelines in Dallas, Houston, or Austin and their surrounding communities. This opportunity is available in one of the three locations.
Hybrid-Remote schedule available*
Knowledge of commercial credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, credit scoring, documentation, etc.
A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain major banking relationships is strongly preferred.
Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong financial and credit analysis skills are essential to this role.
