Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provide quality control of ILI projects calibration and preparation of ILI tools, perform pig tracking and AGM placement, review of site reports, and validation/acceptance of test results.
Management of make-piggable/make-inspectable pipeline projects from selection analysis through contract awarding, fabrication and commissioning.
Support and/or manage pipeline cleaning programs, including pig design and selection, evaluation of effectiveness, and development of procedures and documentation.
Perform planning and front end engineering for pipeline integrity assessments, including selection of assessment method (e.g. ILI, hydrotest), tool specification, field modifications for execution of assessment, selection of vendors, and preparation of procedures and support documentation.
Provide field support for pipeline integrity assessments including liaison with Operations or external stakeholders, review of site reports, and validation/acceptance of test results.
Support data analysis of integrity assessment results including scope development and oversight of follow-up inspection and/or repair activities.
Document and communicate to Operations closeout records for pipeline integrity assessments and ensure all activities are completed in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Execute repair and/or upgrade projects to ensure compliance with state requirements.
Provide technical input and review for Pipeline Specific Operating Manuals and Pipeline Risk Assessments.
Act as subject matter expert in support of regulatory agency audits and inspections. Assist with document preparation and act as company representative for site visits.

Prepare estimates and bid packages, performs bid walks, and evaluates bids with project teams.
Provide visible leadership to the project execution teams and visit the project sites frequently.
Develop and implement innovative project execution strategies in order to reduce costs and improve quality (to include safety).
Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to plan and prepare projects in conjunction with facility activities.
Self-perform the management and technical aspects of the project to the maximum extent possible.
Streamline procedures, employ new technologies, and develop innovative strategies to ensure efficient operations.
Demonstrate value to operations and asset team personnel.
Maintains a service-oriented attitude to assist operations and engineering staff with programs and procedures to ensure work is performed safely and is appropriately documented and tracked.
The position involves being actively engaged with internal and external stakeholders in an advocacy role for the Company regarding federal and state issues, and potentially other issues.
Other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Five (5) years minimum experience in oil and gas pipeline engineering and compliance experience, preferably in Alaska.
Experience in Federal and State regulations related to Pipeline operations preferred, including skills in auditing, reviewing, reporting and recordkeeping of regulatory required files.
Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
Exceptional ability at successful project management.
Proficient in organization and data management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
Ability to maintain a positive, professional and solutions-oriented approach with coworkers, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
The successful candidate will demonstrate that s/he can take ownership of the job responsibilities and hold themselves accountable for their successful completion.
Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
This position requires travel (up to 25%) to field facilities and other offices, as well as periodic work in outdoor and industrial facility environments to oversee on-site contract staff, and establish and maintain good working rapport with operations personnel.

Education Requirements:
Required: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited four-year university or college in Engineering or a closely related field.
