Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Exchange reconciliation of the Commodities Account – making sure day trades, open position and P&L are accurate.
Daily checking of statements of the respective market making accounts – making sure day trades, open position and P&L are accurate.
Aid in trade entries for trades executed by brokers who have traded with the Central OTC Trade Desk, CTA desk or an independent electronic trading platform.
Being able to correctly verify trade information on the fly.
Working with other Middle Office members, Brokers, Traders, and other personnel to prevent errors, or find/correct them if they occur.
Help enforce new Compliance rules and regulations amongst the brokers and traders.
Storing any form of reconciliation and trade documents to be filed for compliance/audit purposes.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2022 and August 2023
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
Strong verbal/written communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency
Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer (dependent on req)
