As a Software Developer Sr – Automation & Development within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security organization, you will be part of a small team and report into an Enterprise Architect Manager Sr.

This is a remote position that can sit within the PNC footprint, although it may not be available in all jurisdictions. Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis.

• Proficient in Web Application Development (prefer experience with Angular, .NET Core, C# and willing to learn/adapt
• Proficient in implementing, installing, automation (pref. with Ansible), enhancing, upgrading, supporting vendor products (SonaType ideal)
• Proficient with Linux and Windows OSes
• Ability to take on a responsibility that requires learning, self-direction, and personal drive to get things done (comfortable with situations where the way isn’t already paved)
• Good technical documentation skills and ability to teach/mentor others on technology matters

Job Description

Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
