Program Description
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is looking for talented engineers for our Danville, VA facility to significantly strengthen its engineering depth and play an integral role in the current and future success of the organization. The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op Program provides engineering students with practical work experience in leadership, manufacturing, and technical areas. The program allows the students to gain a better understanding of the various job opportunities available throughout Goodyear.
This position is designed for developing engineers who desire to learn about a career in manufacturing. It is a dynamic and energetic position that will expand your engineering and problem-solving skillsets and provide you great exposure to modern manufacturing practices. The period for this position is the Summer of 2023, May-August, or Fall of 2023, August – December.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering or related major
Minimum 2.8 overall GPA required
Must be Junior level or higher. Master’s students will also be considered.
